I was honoured to be invited to speak at a Probus Club meeting in Ellenbrook, where I had the opportunity to share the story behind The Sum of Us with a group of around 40 members.
It was a truly engaging morning, with thoughtful questions, shared reflections, and a real appreciation for the journey that shaped the book. I especially enjoyed the conversations that followed and hearing stories in return is always one of the most meaningful parts of these gatherings.
The morning was made even more special by the lovely tea they had prepared, which added to the warm and welcoming atmosphere.
