About

Elise Berenger

Art, faith, and family are at the heart of who I am. I have a deep love for creating and restoring beautiful pieces, particularly religious sculptures and artwork that carry meaning, history, and inspiration. There is something special about bringing a treasured item back to its former beauty and giving it a new life.

My family is my greatest source of joy and encouragement, and they have inspired much of my creative work. My recent book The Sum of Us celebrates family, resilience, connection, and the journeys that shape us. Through both my writing and my sculptures, I hope to create pieces that touch hearts, preserve memories, and bring beauty into people's lives.

AUTHOR

The Sum of Us

A True Story of Love, Land and a Long Road Home

The Sum of Us was written from a desire to preserve the stories, memories, and experiences that have shaped my family. I wanted my children, and their children after them, to know where they came from and to understand the journeys, sacrifices, and connections that helped make us who we are today.

It is a story of love, resilience, belonging, and of the people and places that leave their mark on our hearts and remain part of us long after time has passed.

Available in Paperback, Hardback, and Jacketed Sleeve editions.

Sacred & Original Works

I have always been drawn to religious art and the stories, traditions, and faith it represents. Each sculpture is individually designed, handmade, and hand-painted by me, with care and attention to every detail. For me, creating these pieces is both an artistic expression and a deeply personal journey.

Whether it is a small holy water font or a larger devotional statue, my hope is that each piece brings beauty, inspiration, and a special sense of connection to those who welcome it into their homes, gardens, and sacred spaces.
